Eligibility:
The student must have cleared BSc. from any branch of Life Sciences from any recognized institute with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Â The students will be admitted in this course based on their score in M.Sc. entrance examination conducted by the college, interview and marks obtained in T.Y.B.Sc.
Program Highlights:
- Sc. Biotechnology is a two year degree course.
- Globally competent, multi & interdisciplinary & industry oriented curriculum
- Syllabi is revised after every three years keeping abreast with the recent and emerging dimension in the multidisciplinary arena of Biotechnology on par with Global HEIs.
- The coursework comprises of core subject and elective papers with relevant practical expertise.
- Aligned with NEP 2020 the course included compulsory On- job training (OJT) and Research project as a part of the curriculum, along with assistance and training for Placements
- The department conducts an Add-On Course on ‘Bioinformatics -Tools and applications’ and ‘Clinical Research and Data Management’
- The department organizes Hands-On workshops, Guest Lectures, Industrial Visits and Seminars for students to understand the dimensions and careers in Biotechnology. The students are encouraged to participate in national and international conferences as well as to publish their research work.
