Women Developmental Cell, SVKM’s Mithibai College
A Women Development Cell in any institution symbolizes a safety hub for the students. It is also the sign of progression and open thinking. Amidst COVID-19 pandemic, academia has experienced massive reforms globally; nevertheless, it has not diminished involvement of teachers and students in learning the curriculum nor it could stop the youth from showcasing their talent and skills in co-curricular and extra-curricular events organized by Colleges and its committees like ‘Women Development Cell’

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Women Development Cell of SVKM’s Mithibai College planned to celebrate the event by organizing various competitions virtually on the theme of ‘On Campus Harassment’. Much brainstorming was done in committee meetings in February, 2021 and thought upon categories of online competitions inviting students to register for the five categories like Live Recitation of self-written poem, Live Recitation of self-written monologue, Poster making, Slogan writing, Logo Designing for our Women Development Cell. E-invite was made and circulated to
all students of College.

39 Registrations and entries were received in all categories

5. Judgement/announcement of all the competitions- (Aurora Vaz/ Archana Mainkar)
