Paparazzi (BMM)
Mithibai college’s Mass Media department organised their annual media festival on 29th and 30th November. 20 colleges in Mumbai participated full-fledged with more than three thousand students. 17 events were orchestrated by the team of Paparazzi in the 5th edition of their festival. 
The festival began with Raja Krishna Menon addressing the students and gave valuable career advice to them.
Flagship events like Main Film, Fashion Show, Drama, Moot Court, Singing and Dance witnessed great participation.
On the eve of 30th Nov, the witty Sajid Samji presented the winners with their prizes and interacted with the students.
The theme was titled The Oracle’s Box Office in which famous Bollywood characters led Hollywood troops and participated in the festival. The CL meets were organized in order to inform and explain the theme and events to the contingent leaders.
Team Paparazzi worked for five months to make the festival a success.They held social outreach programs to spread awareness about The Blue Whale Challenge, titled The Pink Whale Initiative. A street play titled 'Chunauti' was performed, followed by a visit to Old Age Homes in the city under this initiative. Also, a social media activity was conducted to boost positivity amongst everyone by sharing happy posts as mentioned in The Pink Whale Challenge.
Judges that were experienced and well-known in their respective fields evaluated the performances. Judges like Rajit Kapoor, Zoya Afroz, Abhishek Sengupta, Rajeev Goswami analysed the participants performing in the events
First Contingent Leaders’ Meet- 16th June, 2016:

One of the most celebrated media festivals in the city, Paparazzi ’16 opened its gates for more than 25 Media colleges on their 1st Contingent Leaders’ Meet that took place at The Penny Whistle Tavern.

The theme for this year, The Battle of Genesis, took colleges by surprise as a merger like this was never done before. The event was graced by Dr.RajpalShripatHande the Principal and Dr.NupurMehrotra, the Vice Principal of Mithibai College.
Street Play- 10th July, 2016: 

The Paparazzi team grabbed the attention of a large audience at Juhu Beach and Carter road. More than 500 people witnessed the street play 'Anna Apoorna', performed by the students on the same day at two different locations. The street play was about the plague food wastage has become and encouraged the audience not to indulge in the practice. Paparazzi has always believed in doing every little bit they can for the betterment of the society.
Lost Stories Masterclass on Music Production & DJing- 14th July, 2016:

Team Paparazzi played host to young and internationally acclaimed electronic duo, that took the world by storm with their performance at Tomorrowland (One of the biggest EDM festivals in the world). With their music video listed #16 on The Top 100 Videos of 2014, ‘Lost Stories’ member Rishab Joshi conducted a masterclass on Music Production and DJing. The session was attended by at around 120 students from the Mass Media Department of the College.
Madaari Movie Promotion- 15th July, 2016:

Paparazzi was graced with the presence of the veteran actor, Mr Irrfan Khan. The actor visited the college to promote his masterpiece 'Madaari'. The movie aims for the youth as it reflects the ideas and the questions they arise.

Paparazzi organized a press conference for the same at JuhuJagruti Hall. The promotional event was covered by more than 35 media houses. An online activity was also conducted in which people were asked to creatively word their thoughts about waking up people from their negligence and stupor.
Second Contingent Leaders’ Meet- 22nd July, 2016:

The essence of every college festival and the crux to every competition; Paparazzi ’16 raised the curtains to its enthralling events in their 2nd Contingent Leaders Meet at the Juhu Jagruti Hall. More than 200 Media students from various colleges promoted their contingents and expressed their overwhelming eagerness for the festival, in the college campus. Their chants and praises echoed through the hallways as Paparazzi gave them a warm welcome. A number of PR activities kept the audience engaged and excited.
First Social Activity for Food Distribution- 31st July, 2016:

The Paparazzi team celebrated the joy of giving. The students, with their humble efforts, set out to satisfy the hunger of more than 200 underprivileged people at Vile Parle and Andheri. Food packets with a filling lunch were distributed on the streets. The team has been continuously engaged in doing every little bit for the less fortunate and has planned a number of social acts to bring cheers in lives of many.
