Hindi Department came in to existence in 1961.  The Department has one Full-time Teacher in Degree College to teach the subject of the First Year, Second Year B.A. Degree Course.  There is one Compulsory Hindi Paper and Ancillary (Optional I) Paper at the F.Y. and two paper at the S.Y.B.A. levels.

Mr. Rakesh V. Panse

  • Presented a paper at a one day international seminar on 16th March, 2017 at Sathaye College, Vile Parle (E), Mumbai on ‘Mahadevi Varma ka Marmsparshi Nari Chintan’
  • Presented a paper at a two day national seminar held on 24-25 March, 2017 at Birla college, Kalyan on the topic ‘Muktibhodh ke kavya ki Mool Samvedna’
  • Presenting a paper at the international seminar at S. B. College, Shahpur on 8th April, 2017. The topic is ‘Premchand ke Upanyason mein Nari ke Shashwat Roop’
  • Rakesh V. Panse presented a Research Paper at a National Seminar at Ramnarain Ruia College, Matunga, Mumbai
  • Rakesh V. Panse presented a paper in National Seminar at Somaiya College, Vidyavihar.
  • Rakesh V. Panse presented a paper in National Seminar at Jhunjhunwala College, Ghatkopar, Mumbai.
  • Rakesh V. Panse participated in the syllabus revision workshop for different papers of Hindi

  • Kajal Sharma, a TYBA student represented Mithibai College and won 2nd pize in Hindi Self Poetry Recitation Competition organized at B M Ruia Girls College on 16th December 2016.
  • Kajal sharma, TYBA won the first prize and Ayushi Jain. FYBA won the consolation prize in Elocution competition organized by Mumbai Hindi Sabha.
  • Kajal Sharma, TYBA and Priya Ozha, FYBA participated in the Hindi Essay competition organized by Mumbai Hindi Sabha on 29th January 2017 and are awaiying results.
  • Department of Hindi organized Hindi Elocution Competition (Intra) held on 23rd September, 2017 on the occasion of Hindi Day which was judged by Dr. Madhuri Joshi, HOD and Associated Professor, Ismail Yusuf College, Jogeshwari (East).
Students with Hindi can pursue the career in Mass-Media-Journalism, Advertising (copy writing) Teaching, Public Relations, Event Management, Translator, Government Officer, Story Writing (Script – Film, Drama etc.)
