The Department of
Business Law was established in the year 1983. The Department with its 2
faculty members has strength of 911 students and 8 divisions. It offers
one paper
as ‘Business Law’ comprising with different which covers all the
commercial
laws like companies, contract, partnership, consumer, sale of goods,
Negotiable Instrument Act, Limited Liability Act, Companies Act,
Intellectual Property Rights, Competition Act, Consumer Act, etc. and
also enabling the students with the opportunity to make career in laws.

- Starting Law Association.
- Separate Law library for reference books and law journals.
- Legal Advice Centre for students & college teachers.
- Intensive coaching centre for students to prepare them for law courses.
- Visits to Consumer Courts.
- Case Study & Moot court.
- Students of Business Law has visited to Juhu Police Station on 10/8/2017
- Guest lecture was organized for " Companies Act 2013" on 11th Feb.2017 by Adv. Asim Vidyarthi
- Department of Business Law has visited to Juhu Police Station on 29th August, 2016
- A Guest lecture was organised for 'Awareness of
Cyber Crime' on 8th August 2015 by Adv. Prashant Mali Cyber Law Consulting (Advocate & Attorneys)
The Court visit had conducted from Department of Business Law at Bandra
Court. There was also visit to the Office of Registrar of Partnership
Firm and the Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum, Industrial court and
Labour court. :
- Evaluation of student performance.
- Taking steps through counseling and meeting the parents as remedial measure.
- The members of the teaching staff have been actively participating in various faculty improvement programme.
- The department has oganised various programmes / lectures/ court visits for the students of the department.
